I wonder how it's different than the Micro_VR?

It only mentions 100w @ 8 ohms, like it doesn't do 4 ohms.

According to the specs it is weaker, only 100 watts at 8 ohms vs the 150 the Micro VR is listed at. Plus, there's no mention of it working at 4 ohms, which seems kinda odd.

I like how the grill cloth is skewed on the promo amp.

They've also go the Heritage R12R page up in case you hadn't seen that one:

Oh well, some years are slower than others, I guess.

I sense a disturbance in the amp forums...
like dozens of guys just went "meh" and were suddenly unimpressed...

The lack of a substantial bass offering doesn't really surprise me. They have been putting a lot of effort and resources into re-establishing the guitar amp line. This took a lot of money in terms of consultants, overhead, and scheduling production and there is only so much that can be budgeted for in the year.

All their Heritage products were bass related so I can see adding a Heritage guitar amp to the line. They seem to be committed to keeping the Heritage bass products that are already being offered.

The Micro-VR went through a bit of a rough period and the Micro-CL looks like it is intended as a replacement. The VR will probably be phased out.

Hopefully this year will be dedicated to the development of something spectacular for the bass community. By spectacular, I mean a Heritage VR and straight back cab and a 100W tube amp.

Tonally, likely the same way the 300W CL is different from the 300W VR.

Who wouldn't like a guitar amp with a lot in common with the B-15.

It's the the Micro-VR, but without the mojo.

The cab is only rated for 100watts so it's not even a good alternative to the VR210 for a verticle 410 setup.

The dimensions are all weird.
In the pics, the head looks less wide, just by a little.
In the specs, the cab is supposed to be twice as wide.
Am I missing something?

I think they mixed-up the height and width measurements in the specs at the bottom.

When another TB'er call the Micro VR a toy and novelty item I laughed. It is a great head (minus the cabs issues with it).

This however, sadly, is a toy.

So that's why it sounded so good, I had no idea....should've plugged my bass in there.
