I'm with Jimmy unless they did it in a sub-50 lb package. Moving my SVT-II is like carrying my Korean exgirlfriend around.

Yes, the above is a slight exaggeration, but not much of one.

PS- OP, shame on you.

OK, I looked......

But....Like Jimmy said, Ampeg and Fender(Sunn) has the 300 covered. Instead, They could produce a solid, well built 200. I know, Traynor and Peavey. But, I don't like the looks of the Peavey (not vintage enough)

A MIA all-tube 300 watter that would go for probably around 1K, with Carvin-direct pricing?

I'd say the bass-playing world would love to see it...would give Loud a run for its money, IMO...

True, I have a 2-pro...but I have to admit, I just felt a surge of GAS for a second there....and then wanted to slap the OP in the face.

Yeah maybe 200 would be a better way to go... I played a CVT CL at a Sam Ash the other day for the first time, and while it sounded great... I cant imagine ever needing that kind of power.... much less being able to dime it...

It would be nice if someone came out with a Tube Amp with some modern features.....Footswitchable, more extensive eq, More DI options, etc.

Traynor's getting ready to unveil they're 300watt all-tube monstrosity.

apparently able to work down to the last pair of output tubes as well if they start poppin.

2011 could be ooey-gooey-tubey up here in the frozen North
