Next amp??

I play in small gigs from time to time and I have a Behringer amp that is really fantastic. It really holds it's own with the guitar and drums and to be honest I am quite impressed with it for being just a combo amp. But what should I get as the next step? Any advice on where I should go from here?

It would help if you stated your current amp's wattage, speaker size, etc. Perhaps you'll get some replies.

hahaha oops I forgot that... well it's a 45 watt, I know, not too big but we only play small gigs and it holds its own for that. But as I get older I just wanted to know, are there any better amps out there that offer more in the way of features and such that I should look into?

You'll find there's not much love for Behringer on TB. I'm not much for "features" on an amp, unless it's the standards such as tuner output, active/passive input switch, etc. Personally, I use a lightweight head with a 210 cab. GenzBenz NeoPak 3.5 and Avatar cab. 350 watts at 4 ohms. The head is rated at (I think) 500 watts at 2 ohms, in case I would decide I needed another 210 cab to push more air. I'm not recommending anything, I'm just saying what I use.

If loud is not a big consideration a Phil Jones Suitcase is a great combo amp. Add a 4b cabinet and loud is no longer a problem either. The Orange Tiny Terror Bass is also great, and their new isobaric cabs are great.
