NICE RACK!!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Recently had an episode with my Hartke LH 500. Really thought I messed something up bad, and was gonna run me big money to fix/or replace. Thankfully it required only a $20 tube.

But because of this I went out and bought a 4 rack Gator case! Needless to say, now I want to fill it up!

So the question is what do you have in your rack and what do you like about it? My first thought was a rackmount tuner. But I want to get what's best, or that I'll have the most fun with!

Everyone love a nice rack!!

A 4 space rack?

I would fill it with a 2 space amp and a 2 space drawer. Then I could put my Turbo tuner and VT pedal, along with extra strings/cables/black book etc... in it.

That's a pretty good idea. Have to look into those drawers. Thanks!!

Giving serious thought to buying an LH 500! Thanks for the post. And, I've collected 'spare' 12AX7 tubes sitting on my shelf, too.

BTW, you don't neeeeeed the drawer. You could always put a 2 space blank under your amp for those things. The drawer is just extra weight, but it looks really cool!

No problem! I don't have a lot of experience with with many other heads, but I love this one! And customer service from Larry himself is like no other!! Changing that tube really made this head come alive, maybe it was getting weak f or a period of time. Don't know much about them. But I know I really plan on protecting my investment from here on out!

I thought I had a preamp tube issue once, so I bought a tube that I won't mention the name of, but it started with G and ended with T. I installed it, and had to use the DI and wedges that night...

RMV-420 may be the right unit to fill out your rack:
