Ever since I started playing amplified stringed instruments, I've wanted to get my hands on a 70's Orange OR120. As I got more and more into gear and equipment, all roads were leading me to Orange... you get the idea: As far as I'm concerned, that amp is tonally heads and
cabstails above any other amp you could think of.
Well, as of this afternoon, my hands are full.
Firstly, this thing is disgustingly loud. I'd heard about the volume, but this is absolutely ridiculous. And it sounds a-***in-mazing. Its hard to deal with heading into the practice space and having my Holy Grail stare back at me. After all these years, and for an absolute steal of a price, too.
