Noisy DI Out on my 800RB

I have an 800RB and no matter what venues I go to, the DI out on the back of the amp has hum and it is really noisy.
Why is that????
I always end up using whatever sound guys have for their choice of DI boxes.

I think that's true of all of them, every venue I have played uses their own DI. I asked one soundguy once, he said great amps, crappy DI out.

Its a trap!
Kidding...Many GK owners have noted that the DI is a bit noisy. Not uncommon at all. Most folks live with it and find the convenience overshadows the hum.
