Noob Rack Question

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a SWR 350X and a friend just gave me a Peavey EQ31. I would like to through this into my rack along with my my SWR. The only problem is I am a noob-biscuit and don't know the proper set up for doing this. Do I plug my bass into the eq and then the eq into the SWR or does the eq run through the effects loop?

Please Help

Thank You Kindly,

Tahoe

First, you can try the EQ in both places to see where you like it better. You are either Eq'ing the bass before it goes into the amp or adding more EQ to the amp by putting it in the effects loop. Personally I would put it in the effects loop to add more the amp itself.
