-NOOBIE Q-Would this even be possible?? Amp question!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an acoustic b100 combo amp right now, its a 100w head and a 1x15 cab and I was wondering, is there any possible way I could get a more powerful head and power the 1x15 without removing or un-installing the 100w head?

Sorry for asking such a dumb question but I have only been playing for 2 years

Thanks for reading!

No not really. In theory you could isolate the speaker input wires, rig a jack, and send power from something else into it - but this is probably a bad idea. More than likely that speaker is more or less designed to handle the output of the "head" it's attached to.
