I'm not a rack-er - this is going into the DAW studio.

This thing sounds amazing now that I trained myself that the bass, treble and mid knobs are not active. It really sounds much like the Yamaha B100 head I had in the 70s/80s plus additional parametric that can really bring out the DING in a P Bass. That amp sounded great - later 'good' SS; box was huge and weighed a ton for an amp that open looked like it came from Heathkit.

Where did you end up on the EQ settings?

Ouch! Considering these are probably one of the easiest preamps to find, I don't know how rare they are

I am not using mine much..... maybe I should sell it for $400.

Color me envious. I have a B100-III, which has most features of the PB1. Basically too heavy to leave home, so I've kept an eye out for deals on a PB1 (like this). That $400 price on eBay is crazy, though.

Ahh ok. I noticed you had some mid scoop on the preamp, but you seem to have mid boosts in the pedals.... so it all works out.
