NRD! New rig day, amp and fairly new basses

Well, because of my Aggy ag500sc taking a nosedive last week, I bit the bullet and spent money I didn't really have on a new amp. On the plus side though,...I cut my back strain down considerably,...and,..it was a great excuse for a new amp!

GK mb210 coupled with a Mesa 115 equals one kickin little rig! Easily portable, it even all fits in my bimmer Z4, just barely, and sounds great!

Couple that with my switch in basses and it made for a great gig yesterday afternoon. No PA support on an outdoors gig and the rig handled it fine. Ran my new Warrior 7 string and my not that new DJ5 through it and both basses sounded great!

Very happy with the entire setup,...old school jazz tone with the DJ5 and nice modern thickness and punch with the Warrior. Add the GK grind and wowzers! The band was major impressed with the tone as well. I'm gonna be eating noodles for a week or two,...but I think it was worth it in the end. Here's a pic of the rig, because I know it doesn't exist here on TB without proof. Consider me one happy bassist, even if my aggy is going to require some bench time!
