NV 610 cover: Bergantino or ??

Sign in to disble this ad
I need to get a cover for my NV610. Are the Bergantino covers the best or can I get a good one made for about the same price? ($129) I generally transport the cab laying down. I've read mention of Tuki or Lecover as being quality. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

i bought the bergantino cover, and it's not the best, imo, for the following reasons:

a) it's too large, with too much slack--it could be sized down dimensionally closer to the actual cab and still slide on and off easily

b) the lower edge of the cover on the rear hangs too low, dragging the ground when moving the cab by tilting back on the wheels--i don't see it lasting long at all because of this, and i'm most likely going to have to have it tailored to solve the problem because the edges drag even when it's tilted so slight as to not even allow the wheels to roll

i'm not sure if i got a badly cut one or if they are all this way, but honestly, i wish i'd have returned it when i got it and had a custom tuki cover made with a tighter fit and less drag...but i needed the cover when i got it and didn't really look hard at it until after i'd used it

that's my gripe with the bergantino cover, and it's 180 degrees from what i feel about the cab itself--the cab is perfect

hope that helps

Man, that does help. Alot! I've never had a custom cover made. But I may decide that I want a more robust outer shell than what looks to be cloth (?) on the Berg.

I agree with ()smoke(). When I had a 610 with a Berg cover, the bottom/back dragged and frayed pretty badly.

Yeah, the back drags, but I cut down a bit to fix the issue. I can't complain too much though, it does the job and I got it free with the cab when I bought it used.

The cab is glorious with my SVT-VR.

Had the same problem with the back dragging on myu NV610 cover and had to cut it down. The cover for my NV215 was fine though.
+1 to Mingus bass: sounds glorious with my VR too.

Can't say about Tuki, but my LeCovers are great!!! And you can talk to Larry to have him alter anything you may or may not want. (i.e. --- I added just a lil bit of wiggle room on my SVT 8x10 cover, so it wasn't too snug & now goes on/off much easier.)
