NVAD- New Vintage Amp Day (Kustom content)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everybody
Just picked up this Kustom today. The guy I got it from said he thought it was about a '68. The cab seems to be a cut down 2x15. If my memory serves me correctly these amps should be running a 4 ohm load? The reason I ask is because the speaker is a MG 1x15 8 ohm I want to make sure this is safe so I don't burn the amp up. Either way my little playing time with it, sounds pretty nice. Certainly has a fairly unique sound.

I'll upload better pictures later.

it's ok to run more than 4 ohms with a solid state amp, just not ok to go lower unless it's specified that it's ok.

Thanks Jimmy, I wasn't sure so I didn't want to risk it.
