Odd combination amp.. advice needed

Hi this is my first post here, and am looking forward to being part of the community! Now if I may ask for a little advice..

Ok, so currently I am playing bass through a Crate bx 2115 (actual bass amp), which then runs into a Carvin sx 200 halfstack (guitar amp/cab) through the balanced line out. I have the EQ on the Crate set for just low end, and the Carvin set for the mids and highs. I really love this setup! Everything is clear and I have the distortion channel at my disposal as well.

My question is this dangerous to the Carvin amp/speakers? I basically have no low end going through them but I am still a little concerned. Also, I am playing through a P-Bass with active pickups if that has any effect on the setup. Any advice on this would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance!

as long as you're not turning up so loud that you blow them, you should be ok.

Just trust Your ears and when the speakers start to complain, back off a bit.
