I also did a blind tonal test between the SL's and a neo Bergantino cab, and one with ceramic drivers. After 3 test runs, I picked the Aguilars each time. |

1. Is Aguilar amp set to flat and its cabs considered a clean/sterile output? Or still has Aguilar signature?
2. How do we listen Aguilar amp using headphone?
Thanks

Thanks | English isn't first language?
1. Aguilar in my oppinion has a midy sort of sound not scooped or flat.
2. It has no headphone out so I'm not sure if you can. |

Fans aren't turning either. | So I took the DB751 to a tech and he said both 15 amp fuses are blown which lead to a total power amp failure. He is estimating $600-$700 to repair (mostly labor costs). I called Aguilar and they said since I'm not the original owner (bought it from a TB'er about a year ago) the 10 year warranty is void. Needless to say I'm not happy at all as the amp has never been gigged and hasn't left the rack since I bought it. I didn't expect such a catastrophic failure so soon. |

That's a lot of labor charges! Since the fuses blew, it could be anything. Blown fuses don't cause a problem, they are the result of a problem. I don't think we have ever charged $700 in labor so please feel free to get a quote from us to fix your amp.
Hope this helps.
Dave B.

Thanks | Every bass will have its own character.
A p bass through an ampeg will sound like a p bass through an ampeg through a aguilar it will sound like a p bass through an aguilar. |

Any chance of some 6 string soaps?

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Sep 2000 Location: Orange County, CA | | | thanks for answering my question guys, but I have another one: how would I use my th350 as just a preamp with my church's big rig that's already all hooked up to the house system? (i want to use it in front of the existing rig at church and not bypass it, long story).
as you know, the th350 only has an xlr output in the front and back, no 1/4" outputs. it also came with two cables, an xlr to xlr and an xlr to 1/4". |
