I liked the ones I got from Mojo. At least when I bought them, they were the official Fender ones. Not positive if these are (or if it matters.)

I agree, looks really sharp.

Yesterday I had my Aguilar P/J set installed-so happy with them.

Very excited to use them tonight at my gig.

And my DB112s *shpuld* be showing up this week!

My cabs showed up!

I've only had them set up for less than 20 minutes but I love them!

My sound of a few months ago, using a Fralin P pickup and a Markbass 410 to now with the Aguilar pickups and cab is so vastly different that it's a pretty big shock to the system, but it's great! They have so much bottom end that I'm afraid my tiny house will fall down if I turn up the amp too high. Mids are super sweet and the top end is clear and present without sounding clacky. *sigh* This is what I've been after for years without knowing it.
And, they just look absolutely stellar. I've seen them in photos before and they look great, but they are so much better in person.

A quick note on the pickups now that I've done a gig with them - I'll keep it short, but I can't say enough good things about them. My Fralins weren't muddy sounding, but when I put the new ones in it was like new life came into my bass. They have a funkyness to them that I love - all the little percussive bits and ghost notes that I've had a really hard time doing before come through crystal clear, which allowed me to play how I've always wanted to but had a hard time making sound good. Now everything I play comes through my speakers exactly how I want it to.

That's it for now! In the photo:
Aguilar P/J set, DB 112, DB 112NT, Tone Hammer Preamp, and it's all powered by a late 60's Garnet 200 watt tube power amp.

They look great in photo, but even better up close in person.

For those who haven't seen, here's the tolex.

Hey guys. Looking for 2 SL112's. Has anyone found them cheaper than $749 each? I've checked TB, eBay & Craigslist for used but no luck.

They are releasing a bunch of new pickups, which have been posted on their website and Facebook the last little while so I assume that's the focus.

My store has a bunch of people down their and will be visiting the booth so if they send me any info I will relay it here!

Hello

I' a very happy owner of DB750 and also have the GS410+GS212. Furthermore I own an Ampeg 810E which is my favorite sound for the DB750

I'm considering exchanging the GS cabs for DB series to get closer to that vintage aound but in a more portable manner than the Ampeg.

What sound I expect soundwise as a comparison from a DB115 + DB210 setup? I might also consider a single DB410.

Thanks in advance all the way from Denmark :-)

Open for all discussion:
Can someone talk me either into or out of selling my Ampeg SVT-II non-Pro and moving to the DB750/751. I have both a Berg NV610 and late 70s Ampeg 810. I play mostly rock (post rock and skate/melodic punk). I have a hoppus p and a Geddy with sd quarter pounders and will be picking up a EB Sterling soon.

besides the usual weight argument, what are some things that the DB75X does that my current head does not.

IME, the DB750 gets a lot louder than the SVT II non-pro, but the Ampeg sounds better at lower volumes (i.e., loud rock band levels). I had to turn up the DB750 to "way too loud" for it to sound right. I sold it and kept my Ampeg.

The Aguilar is a great amp, and if I ever get on a tour where I can have a team of beefy roadies to move my DB810 cab(s), I will score another DB750.

Ok... This is funny. This was posted on Ashdown's Facebook page with the title "Spot the VU". Hard to spot when Adam Clayton is standing right next to glowing blue LED's from a DB750/1 and a classic DB cabs!

I've done many gigs with the bassman, and also a couple using the DB212 and a STL600. Both sounded great.

Caters are way under built for the cab, and mine don't have much life left in them. I'm starting to loose ball bearings!! Anyone got any replacement suggestions??
been thinking of using a aguilar cab with bassman tube head so good to know they match up ok as i'd have to buy without trying (not many stockists in uk)any one used gs212 with a bassman and how do db v gs compare with tube heads

Naturally, I go a couple years where I only have a gig or two, no sweat. I move across country to start playing with my old band again, we book some gigs, then this. I figure it will have to go back to NYC, but at this point I'm going to have to buy a replacement something-or-other and then sell the AG when it gets back from the shop.
