neighbors. mine have been a nightmare lately. they phoned the police a few weeks ago even though i was playing below the noise limit during the day when its ok. the police just said "son, i dont meen to sound rude but your neighbors are petty a***holes and you may be right in this situation but we cant keep getting phoned, we have better things to do. sort this out with them." so i tryed making a deal with them and they started saying all sorts of s*** about me including "you killed a bird" when i just left my gate open.

after 2 hours of arguing the law they just said if they hear me again they're going to the council and i cant have that since im using the council to get a flat.

You can't stop bass from leaving your place and going somewhere else unless you do all kinds of treatment/isolation. If someone was causing low frequency sound to annoy you, whether it's intentional or not, you'd definitely complain. Better to take the high road and use headphones or play when they aren't home.

Yeah let's see the speakers folks. it's plays a huge roll in the voice of your sound. Bassman pushing it or them. They are beautiful even if they're a little off colored or new, or ported dust cap or just covered in cobwebs (heaven forbid) :/ show em'

thanks. its the reason most my stuff is packed up. so i can be ready just to move as soon as i get word..... if the council ever tells me. apparently because im so un-picky im in good stead to get a flat quickly. however they said "well it can take between a week and a year"

Here it is... I got it from a guy who has about 5 of them. He says it's an 80s reissue of a 50s tube amp. It is a good practice amp, but not great on the volume. But it is a great guitar amp for playing surf music.

I heard it was a reissue of a 50s amp. But now that you mention it, I can't think of the 'original' that it would be based on. Not ported, as far as I can tell.

Here's a pic without the grill. (I had no idea it came off at all, let alone so easily!) And a picture of the back.

2 small holes go into cab. The big hole goes in right below the chassis. I use that hole to push the grill off.

Well my understanding on this amp is that it is not a reissue as much as it was Riviera's take on the Fender musicmaster bass amp. It was his last design at Fender also from what i was able to find. And there is said to be between 500 and 3500 made . I have found numbers supporting both. And the only year they were made was 1983.

Also yours is the 3rd i have seen with out the holes. So that leads me to belive that mine was modded at some time! I always thought the ports looked off. Almost to small but thought since there were 2 thats why they were small. Also when pushing the cab will grill off you can hear it chuffing air!

Will have to check my speaker now! Tech said amp was stock before he got it so i know no mods were don there. I know ALOT of these were modded for more break up.

And these are my make shift port plugs (20oz pop caps).

Ok fist off i did nt get to give her to much hell! Kids are in bed.
But i noticed a few things.

Sound was tighter.

Volume seemed to increase with same settings.

Tone seemed more even across strings. Ported you needed a softer touch on the higher strings.

Again this is just a few minutes of messig around before the wife pulled rank on me. So i will have to give her a good run through tomorrow!

Any ideals why i noticed the things i did? Tone settings bass volume full on tone off amp was volume 5 treble 1 middle 6 bass 4.

It's a 50 watt, fuzzy. This amp really woke up with the oranges underneath.
