Ok, it's my Studio Bass 200, but, same deal.
She blows a fuse if I turn it on again almost straight away after turning off after use.....
Everything else's functioning normally. It says 6.25A fuse, but here in Aus 240V we halve that-so it's had a 3A fuse in since I got it.
Should I get a 3.5A ? Slo blo?
I know I can simply not turn it off quite so fast-leave in standby, then IF the need to play again arises, I'm sweet, but it shouldn't be a blowin' em
Any thoughts?

| | | I'd like to join this club. I have one. What a wonderful loud amp it is. Mine is a 1965 Blackface in very excellent all-original condition. Including matching small box 2x12.

But, Exactly right scenario- If it's been on-using it for example, for a couple hours, then I turn it off, & have to turn it back into standby, it blows.
I got some (240V) 3.15A slo blo & they seem to have done the trick.
You think even higher, 3.5 slow blow would be fine?
It's working fine so far, 2 x 3hour gigs this last weekend & all well. But I didn't turn it on off on..... I made sure I left it in standby until ANY chance of an encore had passed

That would scare the mess out of me and I would have someone you trust check all the components in the power section. Yikes!!!!

That's not really a step up in transient response and general headroom from the Fender's 300w RMS but... the 400+ also weighs half as much as the Fender and is rack mount. I plan to use the Mesa as a part time bass amp, part time PA power amp. The Fender is just bigger and heavier.

Edit: Well, I plugged in for the first time in months and played with the graphic EQ, blended some buzzsaw overdrive (HELLO DOOM HEAVEN), and even used the comp for the first time ever. Now that I've got some of my strength back, it's definitely a keeper.
