The Contour is a nice amp. 300 watts and a single 15 will do it for just about any gig nowadays. Enjoy the amp :-)
Keep low

| | | | I am a NEOX 400 Freak.
Looking to get another soon when money and opportunity collide.
Did an Audition when I was in LA. I did not bring the amp but brought the Digitech BP-8 with the Sovtek Tube in it. When the dude plugged me into his recording system to show it off, all the Line 6 Modeling was garbage. I had him plug the BP-8 in direct, and his eyes bugged out.
Two weeks later I ambushed him in Rec. session with all of my stuff on the floor, the BP-8 and the Neox400 running everything through the Ruby into the Computer from the Effects Send.
He turned white and slid the headphones down off his ears and said something to the effect of "Oh my god...I thought it sounded incredible before..."
Yep, made the MD of Dollywood Drool saying he loved the tone, and askng where I have been.
This must be what the stage rushes were all about after a 20 year hiatus.
Then there was the Guitardist who fired me for having my little 2x12 being lounder than his 3 stacks.
Thanks Jeff! You are one of the reasons people call me a Legend when I play.

Can someone tell me if this head offers the ability to plug an MP3 Player into the head and play along with music without any cabinets connected? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Any info would be greatly appreciated! | Yes you can. 1/4" unbalanced line level into the Auxiliary Input alows for CD, IPod or MP3. There is no volume adjustment on this input, you need to control from your player.

My rig was a backlined SVT cab with my ShuttleMAX 9.2 head with my DBX 163 inline... but i brought my Streamliner out as a spare.. you just never know..
The opening act guys amp took a dive at their soundcheck so i lent him my streamlier 900... He loved it... HE wanted to buy it from me on the spot.. hahah.. Sorry man. I sort of like it too.. lol
He had some custom cab with his '77 MM Stingray.. and with the streamliner it sounded incredible..... very open and airy with lots of low down thump without boom...
Well i found out that the Shuttlemax can also do speed metal stuff with George... What a really nice guy.. and a gear head too... i feel so blessed to be able to mix it up with different styles of music... I can affirm the shuttle max is capable of doing METAL!
and country , and R&B and church gigs too....
