In looking through Markbass threads, I see there hasn't been an official Markbass club started here. So being the geeky kind of bassnerd that I am, I will start it off and declare myself Official Markbass Club Member #1
Here am my main stage rig...a Markbass Mini CMD121P into a 1966 Ampeg B-15N double baffle 15" cab (I'm Ampeg Club member #198), soon to be replaced by a Fliptops replica. I also bought a separate LM II for fly dates that's not pictured. So post your rigs, get a number, and maybe, just maybe, it will impress the girls so much that they'll tear their clothes off at the sight of your small but impressive rigs! Girls, after all, like it small
Can't get a number without a pic, either

DigMe, thanks to your sig, I can't get the picture of that tall nerdy guy on Conan out of my mind, and I found myself singing the bulletproof legs song all day today. Thanks a lot...

My Mark Bass business is a CMD 102P - which I love.

Club Bass in Toronto was blowing them out and so picked one up. Fundamentally they are so similar to the LMIIs that I'm not sure I'd have gone for one otherwise - set flat, I'm pretty sure you couldn't tell one from the other blindfolded. The added midrange control is helpful when going for certain tones.
The only gig I've done with the SA450 was very small and I want to see how it does in a louder environment too. I should have a chance to realize that early in the new year though.

Sure as heck, my Guitar Center has a little 2-10 tilted small Mark combo amp... i tried it out...
Uhhhhhh... I gotta sell some stuff... that's pretty much the most musically-useful, portable, buttkicking thing I've ever plugged into.
PS...I hate you all,, LOL!!! |

I've still got to get a picture of my 6x10 all-Markbass rig up, I just can't seem to get it right when I try. Anyone care to drop some instructions or a link on how to do so?

M.R., people who like Markbass stuff often do odd things...I had just bought a Nemesis 2-10" combo amp for small gigs earlier in the week that I was totally happy with. Played my combo a total of about 30 seconds before I decided that I had to leave GC with it right then and there. 2 days later, I bought an LM II. Have not regretted either purchase for so much as a millisecond, even when the credit card bill came

My initial impression of the SD800 was basically the same as your impression of the SA450. Very LM II sounding, maybe a little more versatile with EQ and a tube preamp, but I went for the LM II because it was smaller.

Open up a photobucket.com account and host your pics there. then copy the url of your photobucket pic to TB using that little mountain/sun icon.
