Just wanted to see if anyone can confirm this issue was taken care of on the TB1000..... Thanks

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: Tucson, AZ USA | | PS: Can I get a club number? Bought a TB500H and gigged with it at a few high profile shows recently. Absolutely amazing tone and performance through my Bergantino AE410.
I am currently looking for a small portable modular cab that plays and sounds big, but doesn't break my back. Tried an SP212 at a local store and it was good, but I think I might ultimately want and need a pair of them. But wondering about the Sp410 or any other small 1x12 cabs or 2x12 cabs other TB500 owners are using? ...I have a line on an SP212 locally, or through a rep. So I can still get one. but ultimately, I would probably want a pair of them. If the second one is hard to come by, I may pass and go for something else.
Here's a pic of my Orange. It was just sitting on top of the Markbass cabs. Works ok with them, but KILLS through my Bergantino AE410! I mean AMAAAAZING tone!

| | Doesn't Welcome Our New Overlords | | Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: Cincinnati, OH | | I got my TB500 and SP212 all hot and bothered last wednesday night. I'm in too deep on the breakup to swap tubes atm but I can't thank this club enough for your detailed conversations and experiences. I've been tempted to try some "cryo" tubes and see the subzero difference, however.
Here's a track from ye old live basement recording from weds for anyone wondering how they go together. http://ghostsofla.tumblr.com/post/36885033080/estomp
Epi Tbird -> TB500 -> SP212. I've considered purcahsing another made in england sp212 just to have or run in tandem. Sooner the better I imagine as far as price due to them being assembled in PRC now from what I've seen.

And can anyone tell me their experience with a singple SP212 versus a pair of SP212's with the Orange TB500h? I love the TB500h that I just bought, and now I'm trying to find the best modular, portable cab(s) to pair it with. the TB500h works great with my TB500, but there are times when I don't want the 410 size (in one cab).

I'm now a proud owner of an Orange AD200B MK3. It's the sound I've been looking for through the years. I bought it from a friend who's cutting down his rig.
I use it with a Marshall 1520 JCM800 4x12 Bass series. The sound is crazy.

Can someone give me an indicative quotation?
Here in In Italy no one could answer (neither on English Orange site)...
The amp is an ORS50 bought in '72 and cabs are two 2x12 (or 2x15, I have to verify as soon as possible).
Thanks!!!

Thanks!!! | I think that you need to tell him that he's making a huge mistake in selling them and that you'd be happy to store them for him. Promise him that you'll play through the amp from time to time to keep carbon from building up in the tubes!
(when I was a teenager, a friend and I used that excuse on his mother so she would let him play his Fender Vibrolux Reverb amp loudly)
By the way, that rig is gorgeous!!!

Orange Ad200b Mk3 head really rocks!!!
you think the Tc Electronics RS212 cab will be ok with this head?
I currently have the Ebs Classic 4x10 with this head and it's great but weights a lot. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: Croatia, Zagreb | | | that is a TB500H and two SP212 cabs. I play in a funk band, mostly jazz bass with nicker rounds, but also for a little motown sound, I have a P bass with flats (that green thing in the right bottom corner). It is perfect for rock, but I don't play rock music often, just once in a while. It has a lot of headroom, but also a that low mid growl, so you got to be careful with your settings, but, look, if I can produce really similar sounds to Jamiroquai's Rock Dust Light Star album Paul Turner sound, you know it can go articulated and also intimate. Doesn't have a tweeter or horn, I really don't mind, when I had an Ampeg 410 HLF, I used it horn-off, so I'm used to this "lesser treble" sound.
