Ohio Amp techs you trust?

I got a older Ampeg B2r for really cheap yesterday and thier is some crackle when I turn the mid knob and a little hum to it. I want to get it worked on and overhauled. Do you guys have any suggestions on who I should take it to near Columbus to have this done? I figure that I could use this for smaller shows and beat it up instead of taking my Pro 3 everywhere.

Chris Ivan in Kettering, near Dayton is a world-class amp tech. He works on some of the Nashville pros amps, etc. He's done me and my friends right for years. The drive may be too far for you though.

Abel Audio is hands down the most respected amp repair shop in central Ohio, if not the entire state. I think they're on Fifth Avenue. I've used them a few times myself.

I used to live in Columbus and heard good things from Abel Audio. I never used them myself, but I did hear good things.

Delaware. I just called them and they want more than it's worth to repair it. They said the pot for the mid needs cleaned and maybe soldered and the hum is the power input probably but could be the preamp. They wanted atleast 150 for the work, almost as much as I payed for this. I may just live with it.
