The head is not 4 ohm, it can handle down to a 4 ohm load from the speakers. You can use an 8 ohm cab till the world ends, you will just get less lower from your SS amp head.
Go here for your 32 ohm replacement speaker: http://secure.netsolhost.com/272252....tegory_Code=S8

Nope, over driving bottom of the like speakers with EQ heavy on the bass side would do that. The "4 ohm min" on the head is to let you know not to hook up two 4 ohm, four 8 ohm or a 4 ohm and 8 ohm cab at the same time to the amp head (see the FAQ in the stickies to see how speaker impedance numbers subtract/add).

Two 4 ohm cabs= 2 ohms, below the 4 ohm minimum rating, 8 ohms is above the 4 ohm minimum and just fine.

One 4 ohm, two 8ohm (this becomes 4 ohms combined) or one 8 ohm cab.

You can use

ONE 4 Ohm Cab
ONE or TWO 8 Ohm Cabs - the power divides, so it equals 4 Ohms - 1/2 to each.

AND - speakers sometimes just blow. If it happens again, look at your playing.

MBX is replacing the RBX IIRC, it is not a BackLine (entry level) cab. NEO410 would be REAL nice also.

Check out Avatar speaker cabinets. They are priced right and lots of folks on here swear by them.
