ohms of speakers in cabs
I found myself researching and struggling to find the answer to what seems to be a simple question. if you have 2 speakers that are 8 Ohms each how many ohms is the cab they're in all together? The question is for 2 carvin neo 15s that I installed into a cab. They are 8 ohms and 600 watts each. Is the cab running at 8 or 4 ohms?

This can be found in the FAQ's as well as too many others. Wired in parallel two 8 ohm speakers equal a 4 ohm load.

Wired in parallel, the impedance of the cabinet would be 4 ohms. Wired in series, the impedance of the cabinet would be 16 ohms.

Thanks for the help. I'll have to double check that!
