Hey all, I love the bass tone in that song! Anyone know the history? Bass guitar, amp, studio musician? The song has gotta be 25 30 yrs old but what a great groove! |

I listened to it on ebay and looked at the other vids on the side and it was off to the funk races. Fatback Band (Do the Bus Stop) led to Brick (Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody) led to Con Funk Shun( Confunkshunizeya) and so on. Fun! |

Also, it's from that era of " bass in your face " recordings. But, I would bet that he was going through the board for that recording and not an amp. However, I have been wrong about this stuff before !
