Old amp into power amp

I want to use my Kasino Lounge-B as a preamp. The problem is that there's no effect send, just a speaker out. The loaded signal sounds like garbage and will probably ruin my power amp. Could someone suggest something that would fix this problem? Preferably something less than $100. Thx!

Disconnect the power amp from the pre amp.

If you absolutely love the tone from your combo amp, and the combo has no Effect Send or Line Out, then you can use this device between your combo's amp and speaker, and then this box could send a safe signal to another power amp.

http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/DI100.aspx

This box retails for about $40 and is indeed capable of accepting amp levels up to 3000 watts and goes between your current combo's amp and speaker (so that it remains impedance-loaded if need be.)

I'd go with something more high-quality instead of the Behringer, something like a Radial.

Just to clarify: I'd imagine that one would have to leave the speaker connected to the amp via this Behringer (or any similar) device.

It is unlikely that these types of direct boxes can handle the output power of an amplifier on their own.
