Old and New SWR cabs together?

Anyone have any experience combining new and old SWR cabs?

My current rig (for the past 20 years) is an early SWR SM400 head into a Goliath I 4x10 (serial number 030!) and a Mesa Boogie Road Ready 1x15 (the one that's in its own Anvil case).

I've started playing regularly again in a rock band and I want to start experimenting with different amp/cab combinations. My first idea is to swap out the Mesa for a 8 ohm Goliath III or a Goliath Jr. but given the age of mine I'm not sure that they're guaranteed to play together tonally all that well.

So long as your impedance is good, (both 8 ohm cabs), there's no worry about the age difference. Should be just fine.
