Made 69-73, exact dating can be found by looking at the speakers, they should have a 137-YY-WW number (CTS, year, week). If it's an early enough model, the quarter inch jack is a replacement as it would have originally been a 4-pin connector.
That is the king of 8x10s IMO, I love mine. Fantastic sound. |

NOTE: these era cabs are only rated for 240 Watts (they intended for most users to use two of them with an SVT).
Many people (myself included) prefer these lower-rated cabs because you can really whack those drivers and get a better sound that the later '70's 8x10s. Just be careful not to hurt the poor thing. |

The one you show might be as old as 30 yrs. I'm sure you'll get many more posts telling you much more. My question is "How does it sound?" It should break all of your dishes, since its in the kitchen...best of luck with it..... |

Although not everyone is in to doing it, I love rehabing cabs like that. Here's to hoping it's still got the original speakers in it. Congrats.

Im not not sure if the all of the speakers even work, but if they don't I guess thats part of the $100 price tag and part of the rebuild. |

Well worth it IMO.
