I am planning on getting an extension Cab to go under my Markbass CMD 102P combo. I plan on going for either the Traveler 151P or the New York 151.

For those of you with experience hearing or playing these two speakers, which sounds better? Or is the only difference about $100.

If neither of these are better, is there a different under Cab you would recommend?

I don't hve the experience with those cabinets, but a lot of TB'ers are likely to post on your thread telling you that you should add a 2x10 or 4x10 under your 102P because like speakers sound better.

I have a LMII built into a DIY rig made up of two 10's and one 15 and I couldn't be happier. My advice is stick to your guns and don't listen to anybody's advice. Instead, go somewhere and try out the two different cabs, then buy the one that sounds better to your ears! You'll be happier in thelong run, trust me...

I have yet to need an extension cab with my 102P but if i were to get one i would recommend sticking to the same front ported cab. If your mainly using a fiver you might want to try the 115 cab. I ran a 410 /15 set-up for years, then a 412 which killed, but now I'm going for compact power with a lot less weight to lug around.
