Opinions on cabs

Currently I run a Fender Bassman 300 pro all tube head through a fender 410 pro angled and a GK 412 NEO. I like the sound. But the 4x10 doesnt have the clarity i like.

Im looking at swapping it out for an Ampeg SVT 810 AV.

The cabs im also looking at are a Fender pro 215.

I want something with some extra bottom but clarity too.

I had a 2x10/1x18 cab in my setup. but it wasnt exactly what I was looking for.

Throw me some suggestions on what would fit well with my GK 412neo. B/c that thing is a best by itself.

If I got an 810, who makes a good roadcase for it?

How about another GK 4x12neo? Double your bestness.

Using matching cabs has been posted many times on TB. Since the cabs match, distortion reduced.

I have the Fender Bassman 300 and have the 810Pro cab as well as the 215cab. IMO, this head needs a big cab, your 410Pro cab ( discontin. ) just won't do it justice. I was also looking at the Genz Benz 610 Uber cab but for now, the 215pro sounds great as does the 810 ......

the 810e/av is a great cab. i'd swap the fender cab out for it in a heartbeat.

I'm with Stumbo and JimmyM on this one. The dual 4x12 seems the best bet, but if you like the sound of 12s and 10s mixed (as well as non-matching cabs) then roll with the ampeg. I believe the ampeg is around $100 more than the GK. 999 vs 899

I like the sound of 10 s n 12s mixed.

I'm thinking I'm going to go with the anniversary svt 810.

also im buying the svt-av cab for $600 vs 899 for the gk.
my buddy has a music store and is hooking it up.

If you go with cabinets from different makers do the battery test and make sure they a wired with the same polarity.
