Opinions on a gamble purchase.

I have an opportunity to get a used RBH410 for only $250. Catch is there is an "internal rattle" and a dented dust cap. It's out of state and I can't play it so see if it's an easy fix or a big issue. The seller said the rattle isn't really audible with a full band but it's probably just a loose brace that can be taken to a shop and screwed tight.

Anyone think the gamble of it being a major issue is worth it? What are the chances that it will be a big deal. Anyone ever have this issue with RBH before?

Not a chance. You're getting taken. Sign unseen without a very good description of the problem is bad as is. At that price, no thanks.

I would be very curious as how the dust cap got dented. The grill should have protected it unless someone has swapped out the original speakers and is selling the cab with some cheapo speakers they had laying around.
