Opinions on my current bass rig

So after going through 2 Peavey combo amps, a Gallien Krueger Backline halfstack (410 cab with Backline 600) I've finally gotten a setup that I think will be decent for awhile. Both purchased used through Daddy's Junk Music, I have a SWR Workingman's 4004 post-Fender buyout and an Acoustic B410 cab. I've read mixed reviews on both these products, but I just wanted to see what my fellow bassists think of this setup (and if you think it's a terrible setup tell me!) Thanks!

If it sounds good to you and you're getting the tone you want then who cares what anyone else think? LOL But seriously that rig seems like it pushes a good amount of air and depending on your bass, technique and settings, if you get your tone then you should be happy. Its all subjective.

The question would be, does your new rig deliver what you want out of it?
What you have, looks giggable to me.

To me I think the cab could be upgraded to something better but other than that I really love the setup. I can get a great slap tone out of it, a good finger tone, and currently I play in a punk band so I can get a great pick tone too. I barely even adjust most of the settings between the 3 styles, it's usually just a little less highs or a little more mids for one or the other. I still like to see what other people think too, it won't make me think "oh wow my bass rig is terrible even though I like it, guess I'll have to buy something else" lol. I mean, I play with a Squier Affinity P-bass and that thing sounds fine to me.

To add, does anyone know what type of speakers are used in Acoustic cabs? I assume they use their own brand of speakers, but I couldn't find any information on it anywhere.

It can't be loud enough. I can hear you thinking from way over here but I can't hear any bass.

Maybe not that great of a cab, but if it gets the job done, who cares? Rock it hard!

Whatever works for you is just fine. Money is often a factor with peoples rigs, but I've heard alot of low budget rigs that sound great. The Acoustic cabs I've heard have sounded good, and the same with SWR amps.
