I am liking the idea of down sizing. Is it just me or do do neodym speakers have a sound to them ? I double on upright and a Lakland. I am looking for something neutral in a cabinet. I just tried out some MarkBass cabs at a GC. Impressive but too agressive or edgy for me. I'd use them on the electric but not the upright.
I had a Ampeg portabass 12 for a while and didn't dig it.
