OR120 for bass?

I have the opportunity to do some horse trading for a '73 OR120. I think it would be really cool to have, but how viable is it as a bass amp? Any input is appreciated.

Definitely go for it. Sell it to me if you don't like it.

Vintage OR120 amps have a lot of headroom. You'll need to really crank it to get much tube clipping. Show pics if you get one.

Yep, one I'm trying to sell has been used for bass for last several years. Upgraded to Matamp though.

They've got the volume for sure - but you may wanna try different tubes in the pre-amp if you don't like the way it sounds straight up.
