Orange AD200-GAS attack? Or how I stopped worrying and started loving tube amps

Currently I am very happy with my setup,
a nice looking rack containing:
Korg DTR-1 Pro
Aguilar Agro
Warwick Quad IV

This beauty puts out 450 watts of angry bass-power into
2 mid 90's Hartke 410XL's (important because they are rated 240 watss @ 8 ohms ... and one of the speakers bears the signature of mister Hartke )
And I think it could be a bit too much ...

I play in a hardcore/punk-band with only one guitar player and he has a puny 120 watts all tube Peavey 6505 halfstack.
I have never been able to unleash the full power of my amp (I can't get passed '3' on the volume without blwoing everything away), most of the time I have to keep it in check.
Most of the giggs we play is back line and I tend to be too loud.

So maybe I should downsize my rig by switching to a less powerful amp
Here in Belgium, I can get an Orange AD200 mark III for the sweet spot-price of 1499 euros (2006 US$).

Is this, o fellow TB'ers, an alternative or am I just GAS-ing?

A 120 watt tube halfstack is not puny. It's deafeningly loud.

Well, yes, I totally agree ... I don't want to be in front of it when he cranks it open.
But in comparaison with my mighty 450 watts blowing through 8x10, it feels a bit thin when I go past volume setting 4 1/2'ish on my amp.
