Orange AD200 into Bergantino NV215

I had the rare opportunity to hear someone else playing through my rig on Saturday. We were playing a bikers gig with no FOH reinforcement and I let the opening band's bass player run through my Orange/Berg 215 setup. I had been on the point of reverting back to my main rig, an SVT VR into Berg610, but the low end punch and bite I heard has made me think again. Sounded great through the other guy's fender jaguar bass, and similarly through my P with flats. It was a large concrete floored room and that rig nailed it. The other guys in the band like it because it gets under the guitarists 335 rather punch its way through it, the whole thing gels nicely on stage.
On a different note, I wandered into the local music store recently and they had just got in the new Ampeg micro svt amp and cab. They stuck it in a corner without trying it and basically treated it as a toy. Never having heard one and based on comments here I demanded they fire it up - sounded amazingly tight, loud and no farting. The locals were impressed. I then pointed out that the input gain pad was depressed and the output increased significantly, still tight as you could ask for. This amp is so light, it is hard to believe it can deliver all that power and tone. Serious gas here.
