Hey all, thinking of grabbing one of the above amps. (and for $299, i didnt think it was a bad price at all)
has anyone got one? or used one before?
how do they go?
im after something a little better than the marshall 30w ive got at the moment, plus my brother has just gone up to a 40w valve and the other guitarist has a 60w so i think i might need to keep up haha
its for practise gigs only (possibly do small outside gigs later) |

| | | | It has fantastic tone, but Its not that loud. I would atleast go for a 150 watt amp to compete with two guitarists and a drummer. |

its not that we play loud music or quite music (mostly pearl jam, cpl of foo fighters & some raconteurs)
but yeah, some times struggle to hear the bass over the drums & guitar when it starts rockin' (as to be expected with a 30w i guess haha) |

To me it's between that and the new GK MB115 combo, when ever it (GKMB115 )decides to materialise in Australia, I know I can pick up an Orange today if I like. I'd like to know if the new ones are an improvement in terms of sounding more like a bass amp should rather than just having more watts. |

I am just rekindling my love affair with bass, and I think it was a good buy. Orange quality, mid range price, sounds good. Not much to argue with. |
