Become a fan of MF on facebook. They posted the news that day.

The brand really seems to be the "new hip thing" among guitarists, I know that. Kinda reminds me of the big buzz around Mesa Boogie awhile back and Marshall before that. Are the products that good, or are they just doing a really good job of marketing right now? |

Haven't even looked, to be honest. But what I do know is that with mass distribution inevitably comes loss of quality control. Speaking only for me; if I'm paying boutique prices for something, it had better be damn good and if it's not the customer service had better be lickety-split and then some. Just saying...

I imagine the same is true for you, too, and you just don't realize it.
As for their stuff, I can't really help you on the head front, as I don't own a current production head, and you can do a search on their cabs. Suffice it to say that I think both are absolutely fantastic, and I'm glad that they're now getting their due popularity wise. |

And I did a one-off project a couple years ago with another guitarist that had an Orange half-stack. But that's the total exposure I've had to the brand. |

I was using a Mesa D180, and a GK RB1001II prior to the Orange, and I am thrilled with the new sound, and the ease of transport. If the GC takeover s true I'm glad I got mine prior to the takeover. I had to wait for my Orange gear, because they weren't doing a mass production thing, which was fine with me. |
