overdriven?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all,
I use a Mesa Titan with 2 210 cabs. Never got past noon on the level controls (gain, master, and output).
The tone was great for a number of gigs, clean and tight. Now, on the low B string, I'm getting distortion.
Btw, it happens with all my basses and 2 other amps that I tried.........
Thanks for any advice/opinions.

Chances are the drivers just broke in and now their suspensions are looser, allowing longer excursion. That's a good thing, they work better after break in. Just pull back on the bass EQ so they don't get pushed too hard.

You'll want more speakers for an amp with that much power anyway.
