PA cabs for bass?

I found some huge sunn spl PA cabs with 15s. Would they be good for bass, my sunn concert bass would look good on them

sometimes they sound good sometimes they dont go try it and find out.

I remember those cabs. Who knows if they will sound good for bass. But if they are cheap, buy'em. You could always use them as PA cabs.

Toss a huge horn on top and they will look like Altec "Voice of the Theater" cabs. Killer then, and now.

I had a pair of these for a short time trying to get my bassman loud. It worked, but got sick of moving those real quick. There wasn't hardly any room left in the truck for other gear.




If I knew what the JBL speakers were worth at the time, I should've pulled them and sold them separately, stupid move.

My guitarist had a couple of "perkins" cabs in his garage from his older band days. Each had an EV 15 and was about the size of a house.
