I have a black faced BH412 and I think it would look considerably better if painted silver... has anyone tried this yet? and tricks besides rattlecan silver?

I think it looks considerably better as blackface, maybe you need to paint your amp

If you go and paint it, consider painting some cool image or logo on it to personalize it more. You can use a stencil for it.

I've painted a few grills - personally I'd say "don't do it", but don't let that stop you.

The problem is unless you're getting it powder coated, or some kind of baked-on enamel deal...it's probably going to chip pretty easily. (If your cabs go through the hauling abuse like mine do)

So, given that fact, you're gonna have a pretty beat up, ugly grill in under a year.

Now a fabric cover - that's a different story...
