Never thought I'd say this but I MISS my old Peavey TNT 115 combo. I just...utterly dislike my GK rig right now. It's just the head but the cabs are fine they sound awesome. The tonal freedom it gives me just blows! No matter how much I change it you can barely tell the difference.

I'm now looking for a peavey (or anything other than GK) head about 300-500 watts around Illinois and Indiana. If anyone could recommend a head, please don't hesitate.

And what gear have you all been missing, I know we all want back atleast our first bass

What are you using? I find the GK head to be quite versatile.

the only part of my rig that i don't like is my SVT head's weight (85lbs). other than that it's perfect, so i just deal with it.

Ditto on the Ampeg weight, although I've a Markbass head that I am slowing moving into my regular load out and working through speakers to find a good match.

To the OP, sometimes I think we just get used a sound and then nothing else sounds like reverie.

I would recommend either of the heads that I have, PV Mark VIII or Classic 400. Both rock!

I dislike the weight of my rigs, and that is about it. over 500 pounds to move all my PV gear.

The only piece of my rig I don't like is the cable that runs from my pedalboard to my head. It's five years old, and the plastic insulation is just as stiff as the day I bought it. It also has encapsulated plastic jacks that are well made, but look cheap. Easy enough to replace, but I can never think to pick up a different one...

The part of my rig I don't like is that jackass behind the bass.

I've never gotten used to speakons. I've had some get stuck in the jack, some fail, and some that I could'nt even get into the jack. 1/4 plugs were so easy, and I never had one go bad or fail. Just my luck, I guess.

I used to have a Peavey T-MAX amp that was pretty beat up I got for cheap. It sounded great but looked like it survived a war....barely. Many knobs were broken off and I used a little nail to set some of the controls where they needed to be. I eventually sold it and man did I miss that thing. I eventually found another one in almost like new condition from a guy who took impeccably great care of his equipment. I bought it, still use it all the time and I miss nothing now.

Absolutely nothing - my current gear is the best I've ever played thru, and lacking nothing.... If I wanted something different, I would buy it - I'm good to go....

I gigged a pair of T-Max's for a couple of years, and they were great amps - one of Peavey's best, IMO...

There's no part of either of my rigs that I dislike. If there were I would have replaced it.

Yeah, they've had a few gems over the years, I consider that to be one of them.

The weight of my cab. 100lbs sucks when it's hard to put in/take out of my car.

Otherwise, absolutely love the Music Man + Mesa tone.
