So my Eden EM5s bit the dust and I am thinking about building this.....

So for those you using passive monitors, what kind of amp do you use? I have always used active monitors so I'm pretty new to this idea.

Well then, anybody build their own active monitors that can point me to a plan, site or other info?

Hi.

What You ask is extremely difficult to answer.

The first: Any and all.

Any stereo amp will do, and the price range is from 20€ to 20000€.

The second: Active near field monitors are so cheap that DIY is not feasible.

Regards
Sam
