Pearce B2p

Anyone else running one of these?

I bought my B2p (2 x 300 watts @ 4 ohms bi-amp or 600 watts @ 8 ohms when bridged mono) direct from Pearce back in '91 for $1100 shipped, and it's been going strong ever since. I've tried some of the popular alternatives from Aquilar, Epifani, Glockenklang, EA, Acoustic Image, etc. over the years, but nothing has tempted me away from the old Pearce's great tone and unparalleled versatility. Maybe I'm a bit of a throwback (I still run various Goliath II cabs from the same time period), but this old rig continues to get the job done.

I'd love to hear from other Pearce users, if any, as they seem as rare as hen's teeth these days, which is a real shame.

I was lucky enough to own the regular B2, the preamp version. I have not personally experienced a piece of SS gear before or since that was its equal.

My Pearce B2P

I have a B2P from early 90's. Have since replaced with a Walter Woods, keeping the Pearce, and havent used the Pearce in years. I always loved that amp and just keep it as a backup. I would however contemplate selling it for the right price. As I age, the concept of having one of the small new microamps as a backup is appealing.

Any interested parties?

pearce b2p

Sorry, I just want cash for it. Thanks for your interest. Let me know if you change your mind about trade vs. cash! Thanks.

I could'nt agree with you more...i've been playing 32 yrs and tried many many amps...nothing sounds like the pearce...only 600 watts but with master set at 4...It is hurting peoples ears....the bottom end ...top end and sustain are incredible...hats off to Dan Pearce
