I searched, googled, yahooed, and all i can tell is that this thing is a probably 65w head and a cab with a 15" speaker.
Link to the goods. Craigslist.

Does anyone have a manual or a link to one? Im trying to do my usual research and just coming up empty handed.

You guys have any opinions on this set?
Should I wait for something with a little more oomph?
or...
Should i just get the big 300 combo for 100 bucks? peavey amp combo 300

my situation has changed over thepast week where i need to get an amp fast the B20 Acoustic just isn't cutting it at band practice with drums, keys, 2 guitars... i intend for this to eventually be a backup amp ... while im not stuck on peavey by any means... it's just that the reviews about durability and reliability can't be ingored. Figure if it's still kicking aound after 20+ years it's got to be decent.

so opinions please if you have them nothing else really jumps out at me in the local CL

That Combo 300 is about 20 years newer than the Century. Looks like it has a Black Widow 15. Pretty good deal for $100, assuming it works. The 300w rating is at 2 ohms, with an external cabinet. Even with just the internal speaker, it gets pretty loud, though not terribly deep. Very heavy... you will love the single handle on top.

actually they made several different wattage Century heads and they are a lot louder than you might think, and that cab looks like it might be an 18, you'd have to ask. lots of happy Century owners here at TB those are a very capable head for cheap.
