Question Peavey 210 T-Max?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi TBers. Im kinda new on here and have been lurking around for a bit. The few times I've posted you guys have been realy helpful.

I found a Peavey 210 T-Max on craigslist for $300. Has anyone had one of these before? Are they any good? Is this a good price for them? This would be my first giging rig and I want some help. I saw that they are rated at 300 watts and can be brought up to 500 watts with an extension cab. If I did buy it what are some good cabs I could put under it?
Thanks!

I gigged one for a while many moons back. It was a good giggable amp but it is pretty heavy as I recall for a 210. But it was plaenty loud. The price seems a little high, maybe, but if it were in good shape I would pay that for it.

The owner said its in good condition and they only used it once a week in church. Thanks for your reply.

I have a T-max, just the amp, no combo and I'm not selling it. It's reliable, sounds good, has good power for what it's rated at, workable eq, etc. Also stable at 2ohms so you can make a stack out of whatever mix-n-match cabs you already have. I think I paid 200 for the amp used, 300's a good price for the combo assuming everything works as it should.
