Peavey 215; pimpin it up.... dude....

Hi,

So.... I was given a 2x15 by Peavey. And both drivers look like POOP. Well they kinda sound nice.... soft... But louder.... they fart out and.... well, they had their day. One is propably a BW (did some come with a square magnet?) and the other some replacement.

So I took one out and repaired some lil stuff on the driver... But, well, reconing aint cheap and so I looked for some other drivers...

I have a Multitone amp. It's 8xel34 and rips 200w RMS clean... So it can do a whole lot more than that I suppose...
So I came across some 15 inch FANE speakers... 250 watts, light and 55 euro a piece....

ARE THEY WHAT I THINK THEY ARE.... Or shouldn't I bother. And while I'm at it.... WHAT SHOULD I DO TO THE CAB?

Wrong forum.

It's easier and cheaper to dump that cab and buy something decent. You can't just drop in new speakers without knowing how the cab was designed.
