I know there have been many threads about getting more mids out of these cabinets. This is just my input. I recently purchase one of these because the price was right ($125). I use overdrive pedals and can't stand the sound of distortion through a tweeter. Neither rolling the tweeter off nor boosting mids on amp gave the tone I wanted. I tried a few different methods of bypassing the crossover that I read on this website.......still no luck.....What I did do was completely remove the crossover, disconnect tweeter, rewire speaker to parallel wiring (my amp is 2ohm safe)... Full range at 2 ohms did exactly what I was looking for. If I didn't use pedals I wouldn't fool with the wiring because this cab sounds great as is, but for the ugly noises I make......This is working like a dream (nightmare.....whatever)
