Here is: Top cab is a TX4x10 and the bottom cab is a TVX cab...note the difference in porting, as well as cone color.

Here is what my "home-made" 6x10 cab looks like, using the speakers and crossover from the 2 4x10 cabs.

Sorry it's sideways...that's how it's loaded to my flickr page.

Glad to help. Oh, and by the way, I still have a 115BXBW and that sucker is HEAVY (110 lbs. for a single 115!). It's an earth pounder for a 115 though. Enjoy.

Will it work well as a standalone with a Tmax powering it?

I used that exact same setup...T-Max head into the 115BXBW. Lots of volume and usable tones, though I needed something more versatile tone-wise. A very good pairing.

You may want to (as I did) at some point, throw a 210 on top as the 115 doesn't have a lot of upper mids or highs (no tweeter on the 115). But adding a 210 cab with a tweeter to the 115 really filled out the tonal spectrum much better (not to mention more clean volume). And the T-Max goes down to 2 ohm safely.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, I know where I can get a great deal on 115 bxbw that looks brand new!

I want to see a pic of the back of the cab. I wonder what the input panel looks like.

I saw that one the other day, it is either a chopped off 810 or a custom job. Also I couldn't figure out why the grille is gone. I mean that era of cabs had a metal mesh grill which was screwed on and you can see right through them, you certainly wouldn't take it off for a picture, which means either there is no grille or they made some other sort of one you need to take off for a picture... usually guys selling something "Peavey" go out of their way to have a picture of something that says "Peavey" at least if even the back plate, here I don't see anything although I agree that 5 of the drivers look like sheffields.

Here's a better look at it... Still not sure which driver isn't original?

Obviously the bottom is modified with extra boards or something...

Here's an 810 for reference:

The whole thing looks weird blown up, like the upper left corner guard is actually sunk into the rat fur!

I emailed the guy regarding this "6" x10 cab. He said it's an 810 cut down. However he offered NO other photos, what ohms the cab now is or anything.

At least he answered you !

When this thread first started, I asked him to verify what he was selling by providing pics of the input jack plate and side handles.

He never responded to me at all.

Well good luck to him, although I had a chance at the 115BXBW I got a better deal on a 4x10 TVX and went that route.

Glad I did, I love the tone and volume I get out of that thing, even at 250 @8 ohms the amp seems like its much more powerful.

Now to find another!!! But my back may not be able to deal with two of these heavy suckers!

PV 610 cabinet

The only one I know of is a PV 610 cabinet that I played lead guitar through for 3 years and I loved it!!! The head I was using was a PV 260 Standard. It started blowing the same speaker over and over (top right) and I got rid of it but I have never played through another amp & cab that sounded soooooo good! I want to buy another as soon as I can find one...
