Hey guys.. I don't know much about the electronics in my bass amp, but I'm looking to add a second cab to my set up, and I want to be sure it will all work before I go to spend my money on it.
Right now, I'm rocking the Peavey Tour 250 head with these specifications:
- pre- & post-gain controls
- Bright and & low-cut switches
- Contour control for advanced signal shaping
- Active high & low shelving controls
- Hi boost, low cut
- 9-band constant-Q graphic equalizer w/ bypass switch
- Analog octave divider w/ level control & Footswitchable bypass
- Post-EQ effects loop
- Buffered tuner send jack
- DI XLR output w/ failsafe phantom power backup capability
- 2 input jacks for high & low output bases
- Rear-mounted auxiliary input jack.
- 450 watts into 4 ohms (4 ohm minimum load)
And the cab I'm using right now is the Peavey TVX 115 EX 8 Ohm with these specifications:
• - 250 watts (rms) continuous
• - 500 watts program
• - MDF construction
• - 15 inch Sheffield® Pro 1500+ speaker
• - Specially ported enclosure
• - Frequency response: 30 Hz to 3.5 kHz
• - One 1/4 inch phone jack input connection
• - 8 ohm
And I want to add the Peavey TVX 210 EX onto my set up, and it has this as its specifications:
• - 175 watts (rms) continuous at 4 ohms
• - 350 watts program
• - Two 10 inch Sheffield® bass speakers
• - One phenolic dome tweeter w/ L-pad attenuator
• - 30 Hz to 15 kHz
• - Compact, closed back
• - Front-ported enclosure
Any help would be great! And I just copied and pasted the amp info from the Peavey website.
Thanks!
