Peavey BAM found locally on CL. Worth it?
 

Someone is selling a Peavey BAM locally on CL that looks to be in pretty good shape. I hear a lot of good things about them. I'm tempted to risk the wrath of headquarters and make the guy an offer. Is $500 about right for one? It's hard to tell with some of the inflated asking prices on EvilBay.

I just saw one sold here for $350 so I guess five bills ain't so hot afterall. I remembered seeing them used for around $800 when I was playing bass in the mid 2000s.

Search a little more for prices, seems a bit high. There was on in the TB classifieds not that long ago that was cheaper.
Search the amp classifieds for Peavey Bam and it should come up. As I remember he was asking a fair price.

Three & a half sounds about right. Worth more, imho, really a great combo, but that's the market for these. They are heavy, though.
